Hi I'm Syd! I'm an artist and horticulture student. I like making art of many forms such as painting, illustration, and photography. When I'm not in school or working on art, I enjoy gardening, going on walks and birdwatching. 

 

My work consists of organic figures and shapes with saturated colors. I enjoy using a variety of mediums such as paints, markers, and other found items. My process often starts by referencing photographs I have taken. My art, either painting, photo, or video, is created with the intent of giving the viewer a place to rest. 

 

A recent project I'm proud of being a part of is a zine publication for trans farmers and artists. I love farming and am grateful to meet and talk to queer growers.
