River Boersen

my name is river, though a lot of people know me by my nickname, fox. :-) i am 21 and i go by he/him. i am inspired in my art by warmth, movement, and fluidity, as well as illustrators such as maurice sendak and tove jansson. i like to think of the characters/objects i draw as being made of a small bit of clay, wax, or maybe like a raw bread dough. i am only a hobbyist and i hope one day to learn tattooing (within my style) + write/illustrate a fantastical children's book. i definitely think of my art as a part of my person and something i really love and i hope you enjoy having a gander at it!
